Lugbook connects people travelling between countries with buyers who want authentic goods brought directly to their door — with zero platform fees and no middlemen.
From clicking the map to collecting your goods — here is exactly what happens.
The homepage map shows verified travellers heading to your city from countries around the world. Each pin represents someone with luggage space who is willing to carry goods for you — completely free of platform fees.
Our system auto-detects your location so you instantly see what's heading your way. Click any country to explore who's travelling from there, what they can carry, and when they're arriving.
As a buyer, browse listings and request the item you want brought over. As a seller or carrier, list the products you have available and the space you have in your luggage.
Each listing includes product photos, price, quantity, arrival date, and the carrier's route. There is no middleman — you deal directly with the traveller. You decide the price, the quantity, and the terms.
Every carrier on Lugbook is identity-verified before their listings go live. We check that they are a real person making a real trip — protecting both buyers and sellers.
Verification is a one-time process per trip. Carriers submit their travel itinerary and ID. Once approved, their listings are marked "Confirmed Supply" and visible to buyers in the destination city.
Found something you want? Click "Contact carrier" on the listing and communicate directly. Agree on the handover location, time, and payment method — all on your terms.
We do not intercept your conversation or take a cut of the transaction. The carrier and buyer agree privately. Most handovers happen at a café, train station, or the buyer's door.
Lugbook charges absolutely nothing. No listing fee, no transaction fee, no subscription. Carriers keep 100% of what they earn. Buyers pay exactly what was agreed.
We believe the best travel marketplace is one that stays out of the way. Our revenue model is based on premium features for high-volume carriers and business accounts — not taking money from everyday people.
Not interested in earning? You can mark your carry capacity as a donation — letting charities or community members request goods for free. Many carriers use this to support families sending essential items home.
The platform supports both commercial and charitable carries. You choose. Every trip is an opportunity to make someone's life a little easier.
Is it legal to carry goods for someone else?
Yes, in most countries it is perfectly legal to carry personal goods for friends, family, or acquaintances in your luggage, as long as the goods are not prohibited items (drugs, weapons, etc.) and are within customs allowance. Carriers should always declare goods they are paid to carry at customs.
What happens if something gets lost or damaged?
Lugbook facilitates introductions between carriers and buyers — the agreement and responsibility lies between them. We strongly recommend carriers and buyers agree on terms in writing before the trip, and carriers consider insurance for high-value items.
How do I know the carrier is trustworthy?
All carriers are identity-verified before their listings go live. Profiles show verification status, the route they are travelling, and their arrival date. You can also see the full listing with photos before making contact.
What can be carried?
Almost anything that fits in standard airline luggage and is legal in both countries: food, clothing, electronics, cosmetics, gifts, crafts, spices, and more. Prohibited items include anything illegal in either country, hazardous materials, and items that violate airline safety rules.
Do I need an account to browse?
No — the homepage map and incoming listings are visible to everyone. You only need to create an account if you want to contact a carrier or list your own carry capacity.
