Lugbook connects travellers who sell products they own with buyers who want those goods at their destination — with zero platform fees and no middlemen. Sellers own every item they list. This is not a courier service.
From clicking the map to collecting your goods — here is exactly what happens.
The homepage map shows verified travellers heading to your city from countries around the world. Each pin is someone selling products they own — items they bought or already had, now available to buyers at their destination.
Our system auto-detects your location so you instantly see what's available near you. Click any country to explore who's travelling from there, what they are selling, and when they arrive.
As a seller (traveller), list the products you own and are bringing with you. As a buyer, browse listings and purchase directly. Sellers must own every item they list — Lugbook is not a courier or delivery service.
Each listing includes product photos, price, quantity, arrival date, and the seller's route. You deal directly with the person. No packages from third parties, no deliveries on someone else's behalf.
Every seller on Lugbook is identity-verified before their listings go live. We check that they are a real person making a real trip — and that the items listed belong to them.
Verification is a one-time process per trip. Sellers submit their travel itinerary and ID. Once approved, their listings are marked "Confirmed" and visible to buyers in the destination city.
Found something you want to buy? Click "Contact seller" on the listing and communicate directly. Agree on the handover location, time, and payment — all on your terms.
We do not intercept your conversation or take a cut of the transaction. The seller and buyer agree privately. Most handovers happen at a café, train station, or the buyer's address.
Lugbook charges absolutely nothing. No listing fee, no transaction fee, no subscription. Sellers keep 100% of what they earn. Buyers pay exactly what was agreed.
We believe the best marketplace is one that stays out of the way. Our model is based on premium features for high-volume sellers — not taking money from everyday people.
Lugbook is strictly for travellers selling products they own or have purchased. We do not permit anyone to use the platform to transport or deliver packages belonging to a third party.
If a seller is found to be carrying goods on behalf of someone else — rather than selling items they personally own — their account will be permanently removed. This protects everyone: sellers, buyers, and the integrity of the platform.
Can travellers carry packages on behalf of other people?
No. Lugbook strictly prohibits this. Every item a seller lists must belong to them personally — either something they already own or something they purchased to bring and sell. Using Lugbook to transport packages, parcels or goods belonging to a third party will result in permanent account removal.
Is it legal for travellers to sell goods they own?
Yes. In most countries it is perfectly legal to carry and sell personal goods you own within customs allowances. Every seller is responsible for declaring goods correctly and staying within their personal limits. Lugbook is not liable for customs decisions — sellers must comply with the rules of both countries.
What happens if something is lost or damaged?
Lugbook facilitates introductions between sellers and buyers — the agreement and responsibility lies between them. We strongly recommend both parties agree on terms in writing before the trip, and sellers consider insurance for high-value items.
How do I know the seller is trustworthy?
All sellers are identity-verified before their listings go live. Profiles show verification status, the route they are travelling, and their arrival date. You can see the full listing with photos before making contact.
What products can be listed?
Almost anything legal in both countries that the seller personally owns: clothing, electronics, cosmetics, food, gifts, crafts, spices, and more. Prohibited: anything illegal, hazardous materials, counterfeit goods, or items belonging to someone other than the seller.
Do I need an account to browse?
No — the homepage map and all listings are visible to everyone. You only need an account to contact a seller or list your own products.
